Your brand’s name is “ESPÍRITU LIBRE ~ FREE SPIRIT” why is it important to remain a free spirit?
It’s important for me to remain a free spirit because you have to be accepting of what the universe brings you in life and welcome the future with open arms. A free spirit isn’t afraid to jump at new opportunities and live life the way THEY want to (blocking out any outside noise from society’s views/standards). They live their life freely and honestly.
How did you get involved in fashion?
I’ve always been a lover and creator of fashion. Since I was little I was constantly rebelling against what everyone else wore around me and would cut up my clothes to make them different! I didn’t start officially styling til about 4 years ago when I met one of my best friends who needed fashion help for her music career (music videos, live performances, etc). From there, it took off and I’m thankful to have been a part of so many creative fashion projects!

Which style do you prefer vintage or modern?
To be honest, I prefer a mix, lmao! I think it’s really dope when you can fuse the two worlds together and create your own unique style. (Sorry if that’s cheating hehe)!
Who are your greatest fashion influences?
Damn. Such a tough question lol. Currently, I would have to say: Melody Ehsani, Aleali May, @wuzg00d, and @danie.sierra!
Where is your brand based and how has that community inspired you?
My brand is based on the idea of a free-spirited individual with a mind and energy of their own. I wanted to create a community/space where confidence + positive energy takes the forefront of our lives through expressive clothing. As a Latina, it’s important for me to represent my culture in a way that will hopefully open doors for those chasing the same dream as I am. While wearing Espíritu Libre, I want people to be reminded of their DIOSA (goddess) energy. I want them to feel invincible and ethereal in their own light! ✨🦋♾
